Michelle Racine Stacey

Michelle is a Knowledge Management Consultant at AUM Law. In her role, Michelle focuses on initiatives to progress solutions for how our lawyers and paraprofessionals develop, maintain, and share knowledge to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of services. Michelle manages our library of precedents, document management system and other knowledge resources and is involved in the development of knowledge pertaining to new securities regulatory rules and other legal developments impacting registrants.
Before joining AUM Law, Michelle was part of the BLG team since 2019 as a Research Librarian, where she provided in-depth legal research and reference services using a host of resources from proprietary data and information technologies and provided current awareness monitoring services for legislative and judicial information. Michelle also developed legal research programs, which included summer, articling student and new lawyer onboarding training, Research Librarians training, and mentored library specialists. Before joining BLG, she was a Legal and Business Research Specialist at another law firm and has also worked as a Library Assistant for the City of Calgary in the Strategic Services Division.
Michelle is a current member of the KM Institute (KMI), the Special Libraries Association (SLA), and the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), and previously also held memberships in the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) and the Canadian Association of Law Libraries (CALL).
